Starting in Apollo Bay and finishing in Lorne, the Medio Fondo offers 45km of fully closed roads winding through some of the Great Ocean Road’s most breathtaking sections.

It’s the perfect introduction to Gran Fondo riding – relaxed, well-supported, and set against one of the most iconic coastal backdrops in the world.

THE COURSE

Depart from Apollo Bay’s foreshore and ride north along the ocean’s edge to Lorne. The 45km route features undulating terrain and incredible lookouts along the way – stop, take in the views, and enjoy the ride at your own pace.

NEED TO KNOW

  • Riders have 4 hours to complete the 45km course
  • SAG wagon support available
  • AusCycling members receive a $10 discount
  • Take an extra 10% off each entry if you enter a group of 4 or more!
  • Ride confidently with full traffic management support
